**When making an appointment, you will be provided with a Covid-19 screening questionnaire to complete. Once you have passed with flying colors, we ask that you present in a clean state (preferably after bathing), wear your favorite mask if you have one, come donning clean clothing, and wait outside the clinic or in your car for a call from our front staff when your appointment is ready. Upon entering the clinic, we ask that you immediately use our sanitizing station to clean your hands and try not to touch anything within the clinic. **We will do our best to swiftly direct you into your treatment room for a much-earned treatment from your preferred health practitioner. Kryssen Carey is a born & largely-raised islander with a love for plants, games like Cribbage, scuba diving & animals - especially dogs! She graduated from the Camosun College Massage Therapy Diploma program and has found her calling in health care after a decade in the customer service industry.

As a young teenager, Kryssen began experiencing week-long migraine spells coupled with intense low back/hip pain. For 2 years she was prescribed a plethora of intense pain medications and nothing more. When introduced to therapeutic modalities like massage therapy, her life changed! This experience drives her to create a space where Eastern & Western healing practices come together to bring about the best possible healing experience.

Whether addressing chronic pain, stress relief, or end-of-life care, Kryssen strives to create a safe, positive, and comfortable environment through therapeutic touch, attentive listening, and an empathetic heart to every treatment.

Dr. De Marco grew up in Montreal, Quebec, and studied Environmental Science and Ecological Determinants of Health at the McGill School of Environment - a long title that is essentially asking the question “In what ways are human health and the health of the planet connected?”. After taking a year off to work and travel, she learned about naturopathic medicine while tree planting in BC, and knew right away that this was the path she was meant to take. She moved to Toronto, Ontario to follow this dream, and graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Bobby Eng is a summa cum laude graduate and valedictorian of the Pacific Rim College Diploma of Acupuncture program. He enjoys fusing Traditional Chinese Medicine practices with a more Western view of Anatomy and Fascia to create a holistic and integrated healing experience. You may find his treatments to consist of local and distal needling, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na, and Electro-Stimulation Acupuncture. Bobby has a passion for fitness and is also a firm believer is using movement therapy and exercise to reinforce and maximize the benefits of treatments. Consequently, he is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has worked for over 5 years in various fields of Personal Training such as Rehabilitation, Sports Performance, and Injury Prevention.

Bobby wants to work alongside patients on their healing journey to ensure that they have a safe and beneficial return to their optimal state of function and also prevent the chance of future occurrence. His areas of passion include: sports injuries, repetitive strain injuries, general practice, sports performance, acute and chronic pain, digestive issues, anxiety, and sleeping issues.

Bobby completed a five-year degree in Recreation and Health Education from the University of Victoria where he also played Varsity Soccer. He has been fortunate enough to live in Malawi, China, and Egypt which has allowed him to develop an appreciate for Traditional and Inclusive Medical Practices. Caroline Krutz, a graduate from our local renown Camosun College’s massage therapy program, has spent the past year working with the Vancouver Island community public in both clinic and outreach initiative settings.

Caroline’s treatment style uses patient-based relaxation techniques as a base in transitioning from the busy outside world to the personal treatment space where we can focus on oneself and their healing. Caroline has experience working with a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions and has found particular interest in headaches, pain science, and sports recovery.

Along with traditional Swedish massage, she utilizes the benefits of myofascial release, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular techniques, and lymphatic drainage. Caroline prides herself in adapting pressure from superficial to deep pressure based on the needs of the patient. Her educational homecare recommendations take into account the whole person, their individual abilities and needs, and personal values.

Outside of work, Caroline likes to keep herself busy with various fitness activities that including martial arts and ariel, as well as spending time exploring our beautiful outdoors, some quality indoor baking, and also enjoys travel.
